Authentic Bulgarian rose oil begins with freshly harvested Rosa damascena flowers.
The petals are placed into large distillation vessels, where steam gently carries their volatile aromatic compounds upward. The vapor is then cooled and condensed, creating rose water and essential oil.
The precious rose oil naturally separates and is carefully collected. This traditional process has been practiced in Bulgaria for generations.
